aymorphic

AI is becoming more capable. The harder question is how to make that capability useful in a particular organisation.

Aymorphic is an independent AI research lab. We do not build foundation models. We study how existing AI systems behave in the conditions where people actually use them: how they discover and represent organisations, how they fit into real workflows and where their apparent intelligence stops being reliable.

The same model can produce very different outcomes across different users, data, incentives, interfaces and definitions of success. That is why we begin with context rather than capability. We examine the problem, build evidence around the decision and shape a system from the models, tools and human judgement the situation requires.

Our work takes three forms. We publish research and considered opinion. We build focused products such as Overhyped, which explores visibility across search and AI answer systems. And we work with startups and established organisations on AI strategy, evaluation and implementation.

We are optimistic about AI. We are also wary of the pressure to treat every new capability as a universal answer. Useful systems are specific, testable and accountable to the people who rely on them.

That is the work of Aymorphic: understanding what a situation requires, then helping intelligence take the right shape.

Where research becomes a working product.

Overhyped examines how organisations appear across search and AI answer systems, then turns those findings into practical visibility tools.

It is one example of how Aymorphic moves from a changing field of inquiry to something people can use.
